The schooling landscape is evolving, and False Bay TVET College is within the forefront, recognizing that the traditional school model isn't the only successful means of learning. CareersPortal.co.za had a chat with the Head of Department for Engineering Studies at False Bay College, regarding their offering.

False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are offered at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a 3-year period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Requirements

These classes get started at NCV level two plus the bare minimum requirement would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Mathematics.

At the time the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they would then have attained a grade 10 certificate. NCV Level three would be grade eleven and NCV Level four is grade twelve.

NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, getting equivalent to a Nationwide Senior Certificate check here (NSC).

Grade nine is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV level 2 which happens to be equivalent to an NQF website level two.
